"Good Morning America" New Anchor Announcement Has Fans Talking

“Good Morning America” is reshuffling its staff to capitalize on its recent success.

We’re told that producers behind the ABC show — which is battling NBC’s “Today” for the top spot in the morning — want to focus on its winning team of Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan, with both Amy Robach and Lara Spencer cutting back their time on the show.

Longtime co-anchor Spencer — who has a growing production company — is trimming her hours on “GMA” to work on her other projects.

And sources tell us that an official announcement is expected any day now that “GMA” news anchor Robach is getting promoted to a new gig fronting the network’s news magazine “20/20.”
